The specific activities of URTNA include staff training by organizing seminars and workshops, theoretical and practical courses at the Training Center of URTNA in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) formerly known as Inter-African Center of Etudes en Radio Rurale (CIERRO), exchange of radio and TV, trade news, research and studies on various technical and technological aspects of radio and TV coverage of sports events and cultural relations.
